Terms of use
Use the tool thoughtfully, and review your clean copies before sharing.
Permitted use
Use this tool on files you own or are authorized to modify. You are responsible for how you use and share the resulting files, including preserving attribution when required.
Check your results
The tool is provided as-is, without a guarantee that every possible metadata field or identifying detail is removed. It is not a forensic anonymization service. Inspect each result before relying on it, and keep your original files.
File handling
Original files are uploaded to private Cloudflare storage for administrator quality review and scheduled for automatic deletion after 30 days unless manually deleted sooner. Storage outages can delay removal. Metadata removal runs in your browser, and cleaned copies are not uploaded. See the Privacy page for storage, review, and browser workspace details.
Output and compatibility
Photos are converted to PNG; colors and file sizes may change. Videos are remuxed to MP4 or WebM where their codecs are supported. Subtitles, chapters, attachments, and data tracks are omitted. Unsupported or damaged files may fail. Device memory and browser capabilities affect processing.
Availability and cost
The tool is free and requires no account. Availability, supported formats, and limits may change. There is no service-level agreement or professional privacy certification.
