Original uploads and quality review

When you add a supported photo or video, its original contents are uploaded to private Cloudflare storage before inspection. Site administrators can view or download these originals for quality review, including files that later fail inspection or processing. Originals can include embedded metadata such as location, dates, and device information. Your original filename is not sent; the server assigns a neutral filename.

Retention

Uploaded originals are scheduled for automatic deletion after 30 days and may be manually deleted sooner. Storage outages can delay removal. Removing a file from the workspace, clearing the workspace, or closing or refreshing this tab does not delete an original already stored on the server. Canceling stops the current browser operation; an upload that has already reached storage remains subject to the same retention period.

Metadata removal and cleaned copies

Inspection and metadata removal run in your browser. Cleaned copies and their previews stay on your device and are not uploaded. Your local original files are not modified. The built-in sample is generated in your browser and is not uploaded.

Visitors, administrators, and network data

Visitors do not need an account. The public tool uses no analytics or advertising. Administrator access uses separate authentication; stored originals are not a public file library. Cloudflare applies per-IP upload rate limits; IP addresses are not stored in upload records. The site’s code, fonts, and icons are served with the site. Cloudflare receives ordinary request details such as IP addresses and requested pages when serving the site and handling uploads.

What the workspace keeps

This tab keeps working copies of selected files, processing results, and previews in memory. Removing files or closing or refreshing the tab clears only that browser workspace, not stored originals. Downloaded files are saved wherever you choose and remain under your control.

What removal means

Photo outputs are fresh PNGs checked for source metadata blocks. Video outputs remove descriptive container tags and original track names, while retaining supported picture and audio streams. Technical playback information and information inside compressed streams can remain. Metadata removal does not redact faces, text, landmarks, or voices.

Your choices

You can cancel a batch, remove a file from the browser workspace, or clear that workspace. Download clean copies before leaving the page. These actions do not change the retention period for uploaded originals.
